15A - Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2

With my venture being an app that is used primarily as an information source for those seeking medical advice in a variety of situations there are often a large amount of other options useable. Many people have a very ingrained defense mechanism in their minds that causes them to act in certain ways and do specific things when caring for themselves and others in medical situations.

The three people I decided to interview all had a common view point on how to deal with medical emergencies. I introduced my venture to them and each one was initially skeptical as it is instinct for humans cling to others in times of need, however, after more explanation of the basis of my app all three people realized that with carefully worded questions and a well set up UI it can greatly decrease the time in which it takes people to assess medical emergencies and situations as a whole. All agreed that the most viable alternative would be calling 911 which can result in an ambulance in minutes or less as well as seeking out friends who are medical professionals. The factor that mattered most to post purchase evaluation was whether or not the route took too long and made the injured person suffer more or even cause more damage. If my app has the ability to drastically decrease the necessary time to assess medical emergencies it can increase health and consumer happiness.

I think that if done correctly my app could definitely be the most viable option for figuring out medical situations. If done poorly 911 would greatly surpass but my app would be a preliminary caution being made to figure out of 911 (and other services) would even be necessary to begin with.
